Prayer

I need to pray, because I'm small (and You are great).
I need to pray, because I know very clearly,
that Your feelings and Your intentions mean the most to me.
I need to pray, and I can't deny it any longer.
I need to pray, because I need Your love and Your care.
You alone understand the paths that I have taken and what I have gone through.
There are some things that I can and only wish to share with You,
because You loved me more than anyone else ever could.
When my heart is sinking,
I know You will wipe away every tear from my eyes.
I will say this every morning that I live:
"Today, I will live for You and You alone."
You give me the strength that I need to live each day.
Your grace is enough to sustain me.
